Swan is the creator of whimsical applique quilt patterns as well as a line of “modern meets traditional” pieced patterns. The inventor of the Amity Gloves for Quilters and Sewists, Swan is dedicated to finding ways to make moving fabric in sit down sewing machines comfortable and successful.
Swan travels to teach a variety of quilting classes for both beginner and intermediate students covering techniques from free motion quilting to hand applique. Her lectures and trunk shows are also available for guilds and shows and are focused on encouraging quilters to build confidence and expand their skill sets.
