English Paper Piece Your Choice of Catan, Pokeball, R2D2, Baby Yoda or Deathstar

Love English Paper Piecing or want to learn to quilt by hand? Let’s hand sew together – learn to English Paper piece a 9″ Quilt of your choice! No experience or sewing machine needed at all!
 
Learn to English Paper Piece by creating a small quilt, 9″-12″ wide to be exact (depending on the pattern you choose). In this class we will start with the basic hexagon shape and add on triangles and/or half hexagons.  You will not finish the quilt in class, but will gain the knowledge to finish on your own.

Quilting 101 – Coffee Mug Rug

Learn to Quilt by creating a Coffee Mug Block or Mug Rug
 
Want to Learn to Quilt? You only need knowledge of a sewing machine to take this class! (Or have someone with you that knows how to use a machine – kids welcome with supervision). In this class we will go over all the basics of quilting. How to Rotary Cut fabric, how to piece an easy block, and how to add borders if you would like them. You will need to purchase the pattern separately.

Have you seen Bargello quilts and thought they would be too hard to make? Learn how easy they really are. Learn the technique behind Bargello Quilt Making and how you can change and adapt it for any design or style! Knowledge of a sewing machine and rotary cutter required.

Quilting Basics – Finishing off Your Quilt

Learn to finish off your quilt with different ways to Baste, Quilt, and Bind.
 
Want to know how to finish off your quilt top? In this class we learn the different ways to baste, quilt, and bind your quilt. Knowledge of quilt top making or participation in any Quilt class at GenCon online needed.
 
 

Craftigurumi Classes

Cross-Stitch: Introductory Level

This class is recommended for a complete novice to cross stitching. I will teach the two basic stitches used in most cross stitching, along with skills needed to finish a cross stitch magnet or keychain. Class will be held on Zoom and the link for class will be on the class board a few hours before class starts. Class will also be streamed on Twitch so the vod may be watched over again after class has ended; should anyone desire it. You will need to purchase a pdf pattern and materials before class starts, or you may buy a class kit with all the needed material instead. 8 different design kits/pdfs are available and can be purchased at at my etsy shop. Please consider shipping times when ordering kits as shipping takes 2-5 business days via USPS first class mail.

This class is recommended for beginner+ or advanced level cross stitchers. I will teach the 3 most common basic stitches used in almost every cross stitch pattern, how to attach beads to your designs, how to stitch on perforated paper, and the skills needed to finish a beginner+ level cross stitch ornament. Class will be held on Zoom and the link for class will be on the class board a few hours before class starts. Class will also be streamed on Twitch so the vod may be watched over again after class has ended, should anyone desire it. You will need to purchase a pdf pattern and materials before class starts, or you may buy a class kit with all the needed material instead. 13 different design kits/pdfs are available and can be purchased at my etsy shop. Some experience with cross stitching is recommended for this class; be it previous experience or attending the beginner level class being offered.
